I have an obsession with big earrings. I am always on the hunt for new bold pieces to add to my collection and basically anything from ASHA by ADM fits the bill. The designer is also a Nantucketer - which I always love.

My favs? Any of the chandelier earrings and the Pisces zodiac ring.

Blog Love: Into the Gloss

While working in PR I was a beauty blog guru. Can't say I visit too many of those these days - but two in particular have stuck with me: Lauren Conrad's The Beauty Department and Emily Weiss' Into the Gloss. Funny enough - the two girls worked together while interning at Teen Vogue.

Coral Red

My NYC days are numbered, so my interior design thoughts are shifting to what I can do to the Nantucket house. Two things that I am obsessed with - gallery walls and decorating with coral. Though I think my Pinterest already attests to that.

I Love Your Style

Of all the chic NYC style icons, Amanda Brooks is one of my favorites. Considered the go-to-guide for developing personal style, her look is carefully edited, but uniquely her own at all times. I am kind of obsessed with her book "I Love Your Your Style: How to Define and Refine Your Fashion Style." Lots of people like to talk about style, but Amanda is one that you will actually want to listen to.

Though as Barneys' VP Women's Fashion Director, she now blogs for them (The Window), her old blog I Love Your Style is still pretty fab. I especially love her thoughts on the classic, traditional style of the American woman.

Oh, and speaking of Barneys' - the warehouse sale starts today.

Thinking GOLD

With the Gold Gala just over 2 weeks away - I have had gold on the brain. What gold dress to wear, creative gold decorations for the event space, awesome ways to incorporate gold into makeup look... Planning a black tie fundraising gala sure is a TON of work, but St. Judes Children's Research Hospital is such a wonderful organization - I know it will all be worth it in the end!
